How to make with lasagna with oven
HOME MADE LASAGNA
Lasagna is a delicious Italian dish made with layers of pasta, meat sauce, cheese, and sometimes vegetables. Here's a basic recipe to guide you through the process of making lasagna:
Home made lasagna Ingredients:
9 lasagna noodles
1 pound (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14 ounces/400g) crushed tomatoes
1 can (6 ounces/170g) tomato paste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until they're al dente (firm but not overly soft). Drain the noodles and set them aside.
In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they become fragrant and translucent.
Add the ground beef or Italian sausage to the skillet and cook until it's browned and fully cooked. Break up any large chunks of meat with a spoon or spatula.
Once the meat is cooked, add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Simmer the sauce for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
Now it's time to assemble the lasagna. In a greased baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Place three lasagna noodles side by side on top of the sauce. Spread about one-third of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of the meat sauce and a sprinkling of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta cheese mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. You should have enough ingredients for about three layers.
For the final layer, place the remaining three lasagna noodles on top. Spread the remaining meat sauce over the noodles, making sure they are fully covered. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Once cooked, remove the lasagna from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving. This will make it easier to slice.
Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy your homemade lasagna!
Note: Feel free to customize your lasagna by adding vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini between the layers, or by using different types of cheese.
